Woodhouse Timber moves to new Melbourne warehouse
On Friday, 03 December 2021, Woodhouse Timber will be relocating our Melbourne warehouse to 165 Bayliss Road, Dandenong South, Victoria.
Located less than 10 minutes away from the current premises, the new warehouse and layout will more than double our company’s storage capacity plus enhance our speed of delivery and despatch.
As the leading Australian importer and wholesaler of pre-primed finger jointed pine, the move will ensure solid foundations are in place to better serve our customers.
Woodhouse Timber CEO, Mark Woodhouse, said, “Our reputation has been built on the quality products we offer and our focus on providing excellence in customer service. It has been a challenging year for many with regards to building supplies, but we have worked hard with our suppliers and supply chain to ensure we have continually had good levels of stock to service the industry. This new warehouse is part of our business plan and commitment to the Victoria and Tasmania markets.”
In 2020, we opened our new purpose-built warehouse in Brisbane and introduced new and innovative warehouse management systems and racking that will be replicated in the new Melbourne premises. The new Woodhouse location has recessed docks for unloading stock as well as a large one-way drive, which will help save time and provide a safer operating environment.
The move will occur on 03 December with both Melbourne warehouses operating in parallel for a short period of time to ensure there is no downtime or impact on our customers. There is no change to our contact phone numbers.
We are excited by this enhancement and thank our customers for their continued support.
