Dasso XTR Fused Bamboo® is manufactured using Dasso’s patented process, which combines two stages of high heat to first carbonise the bamboo, removing all of the starch and sugar, and then restructure the bamboo, reinforcing its natural strength characteristics. The result is an extremely dense, durable exterior-use product that has a much more flawless appearance (eg no knots) and more resistance to shrinkage than other decking materials. It is also resistant to attack from bacteria, fungus and other micro-organisms.
Dasso CTECH incorporates Dasso’s patented CeramiX® technology to manufacture superior bamboo products with Natural Colour for both commercial and residential outdoor applications. Because the Fused Bamboo is fully impregnated with CeramiX® particles that crystalise the nutrients, it is protected from and does not attract bacteria, fungus, moulds or insects.
