Earlier this year, Woodhouse and Dulux announced their new strategic partnership for the paint priming of Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ timber product range.
One of the first initiatives to be announced as part of the new partnership is the extension of the Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ warranty to cover both the product and the paint coating system from paint failure too due to cracking, peeling, flaking and adhesion for a period of 25 years.
If a Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ product exhibits failure due to termite or insect borer attack, fungal decay, or if the primer causes applied premium exterior acrylic paints to break down within this timeframe, the affected product will be remedied or replaced according to the specified terms in the product guarantee. It leads the industry with its level of cover and provides total peace of mind for the consumer.
The Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ timber is finger jointed New Zealand radiata pine that is LOSP treated and pre-primed with pink Dulux Industrial coating. It is the premier external finger jointed product used for structural and decorative applications. This includes handrails & balustrades, cladding & lining boards, screening, fencing, fascia, dressed all round (DAR), structural F7 and GL8 laminated beams and posts.

Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ building products are covered by a limited guarantee in exterior above ground applications against termite and insect attack, fungal decay, and paint system failures arising from the performance of factory priming coats (underwritten by Dulux® Powder Coatings). Woodhouse’s maximum liability under this guarantee is limited to and set out in the Woodhouse Weatherproof ™ Warranty.
